  4. PrinceNippy says:

  5. edgleb says:

I like the way u spoke all true.

  6. desnik81 says:

    Dats wut Im sayin! LOL!

  7. I wit you all the way, people are so cruel, how can they down her for 1 little performance…..She is still the voice…..no one is perfect….

  8. dmblackford says:

I’m right there with you man, the performance was bad but she will do better. I’m pulling for her

  9. hmm that’s something to think about

  10. i totally agree with you…everyone has a bad day every now and then but you cannot deny her talent…whitney houston is one of the greatest singers ever.,….we all know she can sing, she was not as bad as people are saying, i was there for the live performance…….whitney is a survivor…..and she still has millions of fans..

  11. MrsMarieRed says:

I didnt see her on GMA but good job on the 4 miles

  12. perfomance was not the best VOCALLY, but it was off the hook!!! Such triumph and its on the beginning of this new beginning. Only the vain person looks for her to still sound like the 19 or 29 year old Whitney…..this is the fresh and relevant and powerful one!

  13. She’s been on a break for years? Whitney Houston hasnt had a break since before she started singing. When she’s not in the studio, she still has people constantly crapping on her, for things she did in the past. She still has the media making fun of her. She still has society in general, constantly throwing stones at her. She may not have been making music, but the woman never had a “break”.

  14. desnik81 says:

I agree drugs are harsh and unnecessary but the public and the media overly scrutinize celebrities SOMETIMES, while some of them seek the attention others are like u and me, just tryin to survive. No doubt she sounded a mess but I often feel that once someone goes down the wrong path, the road to redemption is jadded and often left with no chance for benefit of the doubt. That was my only point.

  15. desnik81 says:

Thanks for da comment! I guess ppl will be ppl no matter what but Im rooting for her and I hope future performances will b betta

  16. give the lady a break? she’d been on break for years! she’s been putting the album together for about a year now, right? there’s no excuse for such a crappy singing when you’re making millions of dollars on your V-O-I-C-E. i mean, she couldn’t take one singing lesson?

we all know she wouldn’t have made it past the first round on american idol with that gma performance today.

but, let’s hope better singing is to come. maybe, you’re right. maybe she needs to get her groove back.

  17. baz1000 says:

You said it exactly how I mean …!!!

  18. And something else that annoys me, is how people STILL bring up her past issues. Damn, the woman is busting her ass to get back what she almost lost. Yet, you still have people doing the “crackhead” jokes. She’s off of the drugs, and no longer with Bobby Brown. But people, for some un-Godly reason, refuse to let the past go. As you said in the video, she’s trying. It was her first major performance, so you know she was nervous. Bottomline, give the woman a fair chance. Damn….

  19. I honestly feel bad for Whitney, the same way I felt bad for Michael Jackson. Both get so much disrespect from society. People can be so damn cruel. This is the woman’s first performance in like 7yrs, and instead of people trying to encourage her…you have people making fun and disrespecting her. Yeah, I’ll admit that the performance could have been better. But damn, I’m still willing to give the woman a chance. Seriously, don’t write her off based on one damn performance. F’n pathetic man.

  20. mykalroze says:

I agree that people are being too harsh. I hate that people think just because someone makes a lot of money, it makes it OK for fans/audiences to holler, hoot, boo, throw things, etc. I think people find some “power” in dumping on others, that they themselves are so pathetic that they feel better by trashing others. I will say that her vocals were pretty bad, and I would have been disappointed. On the flip side, I don’t like those celebs that want privacy when in public.

  21. People aren’t harsh. DRUGS ARE HARSH! This is not about the public, this is about drug addiction!

She may be back but her voice is not. She should retire.

  22. CJKEYZ says:

I loved what you said. I think you nailed it perfectly. People are so harsh. After losing MJ, I thought people would go easier on Whitney, just being happy we still have her out there at all.
