Will my jogging routine increase my running endurance?

Question from Tom H



I’m jogging for three miles at about 4.1 miles per hour every other day. I need to run two miles at 8.7 miles per hour for a fitness test. I have about a month to prepare. Will this routine help me to do it?

    You obviously need to run faster for the fitness test, so your training should be geared towards achieving that running pace. You have to continue your running 3 miles, but also do so shorter higher speed runs on some days
