Will my jogging routine increase my running endurance?

Question from bobbylololololol

I’m jogging for three miles at about 4.1 miles per hour every other day. I need to run two miles at 8.7 miles per hour for a fitness test. I have about a month to prepare. Will this routine help me to do it?

It will help, but you really need to pick up the pace on your runs now. 4.1 mph could be considered a fast walk and puts you at about a 15 minute mile, which isn’t very fast.
