if you are running it on monday you shouldnt do any training from now (sat) until then. on sunday night carbo-load, and hype your self up mentally and get angry (though as soon as the race is over u should stop being angry lol). oh and also ive dun the beep test a couple of times, and ive found that just focusing helps alot.

Practise teh turn as much as you can, thats where most people expend most energy. Just a practise running across a room and turning at each side. You want to turn as quickly as possible expending as little energy as you can, just practise what feels right and get it down.

Don’t do any strenuous excercise today and none tomorrow if thats possible, to make sure your muscles are fully recovered.

Do not carbo load, I can’t be bothered to go into it but it will leave you feeling lethargic and will be detrimental to your performance, also for such a short period as the bleep test is even following the theory it works (which it doesn’t) then its not neccesary.

Make sure you are well hydrated, start that now, keep constatly sipping on a glass of water and try to avoid alchohol. Eat a nice meal the night before, and get a good breakfast; avoid anything that would cause excess flatulance if possible.

Get a good nights sleep tonight and tomorrow and don’t worry about it most importantly. Theres not much you can really do now fitness wise, so just relly on the fact that your fitness level is fine for it.
