Question from kingkong
Which is better to get you fitter heart wise. Also if you swim and reach a fitness where you can swim a mile does that mean you will be able to run a mile. If not would the swimming fitness benefit you in any way when running?

You can use a heart rate monitor ( such as Polar) if you are training for an event or just trying to hit personal fitness goals.
