In the US Navy do they use sit ups or curl ups on the fitness test?

Question from jaseman_17
On a website I found out about (www.usmilitary.about.com) it says the fitness test consists of Curl ups, push ups, and a 1.5 mile run.

I have also heard that the Navy does sit ups not curl ups (curl ups are basically crunches….you cross your arms over your chest and go up until they touch your thighs).
So which do they use (and which should I practice)? Sit ups OR curl ups?
