How to quickly regain fitness?

I am a runner and I recently have taken a little break from my usual running workouts. I had a very minor injury and kept getting sick. Now that I am feeling better I am wondering what is the best way to get back to what it was before I took the break.

    try to do your routine again, if you can’t than try doing little less and work your way back up
