how can i improve my fitness for the swimming carnival?

Question from Bob



last week we had our school swimming carnival, i decided to go in a race for fun, and ended up coming 4th, so i qualified for the interschools, but after the race (50m freestyle) i felt really sick at ended up throwing up.
im not very fit anymore, could that be the reason?
or i didnt really eat much that day, so could that be a reason?
i have 4 days till the carnival, and im going to be swimming/going for runs every day, will this make a difference?

    yes! cut down on all fatty foods, and drink water & do your excersize you will notice a difference :)

  2. I haven’t run for years, would I suddenly try to run 440 yds and beat the s hit out of Tom Dick and Harry who have been doing it for a couple of months? NO! if I did then I to would probably throw up even if I had eaten well that day. TRAINING! lol
