doesn’t matter when you run so long as you are consistent. I would say 3-5 days a week would be good. you can start running for 10 min or more. doesn’t matter how long you run for really.

if you’re building endurance, go for 4-5 days for 3 miles. Keep track of your time and see how you improve over time. Good luck

Start running a mile every morning before you start the day. Time your first run. Once you have improved that time or a week has passed, increase to 1.5 miles. Do this until you are running 3 miles every morning. At this point just keep improving your time. If you ever get to a sub 20 min 3 mile run you are in fantastic shape.

Oh, I say the morning since it boosts your metabolism for the remainder of the day.

The best way to get ur fitness up is to do interval training when your glycogen stores are high (so not before breakfast — that’s for weight loss, you need to be fueled so you can run harder!)

If you are riding on exercise bike you can try a 4-8 rotation for 20 minutes — 8 seconds light, 4 seconds flat out, 8 seconds light, 4 seconds flat out…

If you can go to a park or oval you can do intervals really easily by simply running around the outside — you will need to set the interval based on your current fitness and keep adjusting it as you progress.

to build your fittness up you need to improve you cardio fittness, this will make loosing weight/toneing a lot easier. to improve you cardio system you will need to be doing atleast a hard 15-30 minuets of CONTINOUS activity. most people take this as to some activity then a break and oops! thats my fittness time up. after doing this 4-5 times a wk you will be more energized and suitable to start doing some jogging or running for 30 mins a day. try to run in the morning before you do anything else, this way you wont have anything in your way or stopping you to do excerise, such as an appointment or work or low energy. after doing this for lets say a month or two months have some fun with your fittness, do some laps in an indoor pool, enter some tri-ahtolons, enter compitions that will brighten up your fittness ruteens. but if all of that seems to strict and hard try doing something like joining a gym class, dance class and a fittness group. try to stay away from low energy excersise, these excersies are manly yoga or a sport that doesnt get your heart rate up to its max. to calculate your max heart rate see how many beats you get in 15 sec then times that time by 4. then times that number by your age. also if you want anymore information on fittness or sporting activities please email me, i have much more information i could share.
