My wife has two pairs of Asics , one New Balance, one Nike, and one Rockport. She likes them all to varying degrees. But she recently purchased through Amazon a pair of Saucony Progrid Ride 3 Running Shoes in Silver, Black, and Pink. She ordered them a half size larger than she normally wears, which was a good thing to do. She liked them so much that she ordered a second pair in White, Black, and Purple. We never had paid much attention to this brand, but these are now her favorite athletic shoes. She uses them at work and in walking and finds them to be the most comfortable of this type footwear that she has ever worn. They are made well, give excellent support, and look sharp. Incidentally, I think the correct pronunciation is sock’ a ne — with accent on first syllable. Most people do not know the right way to say the brand’s name. As her husband, I have not yet bought this brand of shoe, but I will consider it next time I shop for athletic shoes. In a word, they are a great discovery for us, and perhaps you will fine it true for yourself.
