Well, I do body boarding and I wanted a water resistant watch that was not terribly expensive. This is a cost effective timepiece given the functions and design.

The durability of the watch for 200m is good for someone with an active lifestyle in the water. This is a simple watch that has a timer, stopwatch, 3 alarms, and illuminated hands for when you are reading the time in the dark. The light allows for viewing in total darkness but the script can be small for some folks. The moon data is nice to have, but not something that I depend upon.

The band is comfortable and the watch is solid in construction. I do find reading the digital time and date difficult with the hands in the way but it is not a deal breaker. The protective crystal is scratch resistant but not protected by the bezel.

It is a solid choice for a person with an active lifestyle.

My wife bought me this fantastic watch a little over three years ago and it is still going strong.

There’s hardly a scratch on the crystal which suggests it’s good quality, bearing in mind the

tortures I have put this watch through. I have travelled all over the Northern territory of Australia,

South East Asia and New Zealand with this watch, and believe me when I say it has copped a beating.

Main reason for travelling with this particular watch is that it’s got dual time. Actally 3 times zones with

the analogue display. The resin band is very comfortable and the water resistance is 200 metres (660 feet)

Having 3 alarms is handy on the go for reminding you about activities you have booked.

The watch, like most Casios, features a countdown timer, stopwatch and electro luminscence lighting,

and this model featues a tide graph and a moon phase indicator. Just make sure you set the home site data.

It’s also got an auto light.

With the negatives on this model I find the digital reading can be obscured by the analogue hands which

is annoying when you have set 3 different times zones, otherwise using it in my home city it’s not such

a drama. The resin band for some reason is subject to building up quite alot of the white powdery dust

on this model compared to other resin bands I own, but this is easily cleaned with a soft cloth.

All in all I really like this model and wear it all the time due to it ruggedness. I would definatley

recommend this watch for people who like outoor activities. Or for anyone who happens like the look of them.

This watch is not as good as it looks in the picture. I would not recommend it to anybody.

In fact a good choice in place of this one would be the Casio Men’s Forester Sports Thermometer Watch.
